Elementary Lessons
Her Right Foot
This lesson I taught it in the spring of 2022 at the University Primary School to the 4th and 5th grade classroom. For this lesson I first read the book Her Right Foot and then discussed symbolism and the importance of defining freedom and what that means for us, our school/community, and country in general and how all of this connects to the book and the statue of liberty.

3rd-5th Reading Group: Kindness
For my Phase two placement I was tasked to create a full week of instruction and lessons on our book "Because Amelia Smiled" and make this instruction focus on Kindness. In addition I have made a reflection of how I Co-Taught these lessons with my cooperative teacher.
